CHILDREN at Clifton St John’s CE Primary School have become recycling entrepreneurs.

Pupils from Class T at the Brighouse school set up their own recycling businesses and raised money for charity.

The three groups, called The Clothes Collectors, CDs4U and Cartridges R Us, focused on specific areas of recycling.

They then sold the items they collected to recycling companies and all funds will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Teacher Karl Roberts said: “We have a link with Brighouse High School and one of their teachers came in with specialist equipment and helped the kids produce their own adverts.

“The children have really enjoyed it.”
