A Halifax secondary school has been awarded the Investors in People Standard.
Park Lane Learning Trust has been recognised for its commitment to realising the potential of their people.
Investors in People is the UK’s leading accreditation for business improvement through people management, and provides a wealth of resources for businesses to innovate, improve and grow, with a focus on good people making a positive contribution.
The standard is described as the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to sustainability.

The school, which has around 417 pupils on roll, has close links with local organisations as part of the Learning Trust such as the University of Huddersfield, Together Housing and the Crossley Heath School.
Jonathan Brownlie, Acting Headteacher, said: “The last few years have been challenging ones for Park Lane, but it is great to see that the changes we are making are impacting positively on the staff of the school, and this will ultimately benefit our students.
“The Investors in People process has been extremely useful not only in having external assessors verify our strengths, but also to highlight areas where we can do even better.”
