Included in the stolen items were a John Deere yellow and green pedal tractor and trailer, a blue children’s battery powered quad bike, and a yellow classic pedal car, with registration plate JACOB1 on the back.

PC Dawn Sutcliffe, of Valley’s Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area last Tuesday morning and may have seen or heard anything suspicious to come forward.

“The toys are of great sentimental value to the three-year-old boy, with one in particular featuring a personal registration plate which would make the item very distinctive.

“I would urge anyone who has seen these items for sale, been invited to buy them or has been given them as a gift to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Dawn Sutcliffe at Valley’s Neighbourhood Policing team via 101.

Enquiries are ongoing.
