A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash in Todmorden.
Emergency services were called to the A646 Halifax Road near the junction with Pennine Way at around 2.05pm this afternoon (Thursday).
A silver Honda Civic collided with a wall, but a police spokesman said there was no other vehicles involved.
Firefighters from Todmorden and Halifax attended and had to cut the roof of the car off to free the two passengers.
The driver, a woman thought to be in her 50s, has been taken to Leeds General Infirmary by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. Her son, who was also in the car, was not injured.
The road is expected to reopen by 4.30pm but the accident is affecting bus services in and out of Todmorden.
Services 590 and 592 are having to terminate at Todmorden.
Anyone who saw the accident or who has any information should contact West Yorkshire Police on 101.
