The Skircoat Green community came together for a festive sing-a-long thanks to the village’s church and post office.
The annual event organised by parishioners at All Saints’ Church, attracted 60 carol singers and families to Skircoat Green Post Office, where owners Brodrick and Heather Rigg had put up a Christmas tree and selling decorations in the shop.
The sing-a-long is now a permanent fixture in the calendar taking place on the Saturday before Christmas.
This year, especially for the children, there were some special treats including a nativity photobooth where youngsters could have their photo taken.
Proceeds from the event will go to Ravenscliffe High School, Skircoat Green.
