SLIDESHOW: Brooksbank pupils are on song in stage production

Students from Brooksbank School threw themselves into their latest stage production Our House.

With a cast of over 70 and a pop band of 10, the show ran for three nights from Tuesday to Thursday.

Themes of life and love, and right and wrong, were punctuated by a string of hits including Baggy Trousers, Driving in My Car, My Girl and It Must Be Love.

Written by Tim Firth, who also wrote Calendar Girls and Kinky Boots, the action is rooted in Camden Town and includes a glut of pop hits by ska legends Madness.

Performers Henry Foulkes, Matthew Whiteley, Emmy Dyson, Evie Sutcliffe, Casper Shaw, Sam Rothery, Karol Seroczynski, Faye Nichols, Lauren Hambleton, Samantha Handscomb, Shabir Amjad, Connor Fahey and Toby Rogan were supported by a ska-pop band comprising of staff and students and led by head of music at Brooksbank, Jamie Cooper. Producing the show was head of drama, Kathryn Steward.
