SLIDESHOW: Characters come to life for World Book Day

Children from across Calderdale brought their favourite literary characters to life as part of their celebrations for World Book Day.

With a spot of help from their parents and teachers, the students created some fabulous costumes featuring an array of famous figures, including James Bond, Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmations and Harry Potter.
