The annual event celebrated its Diamond year on Saturday and there was plenty for all the family to enjoy.

The procession through Halifax town centre, complete with charity, dance and performance groups, thrilled crowds before making its way to Manor Heath Park.

To mark the special year, organisers tried to get as many past gala queens as possible to join this year’s queen Steph Smith and her attendant Olivia Robinson.
