The event was back for the third time at the Orangebox young people’s centre in Halifax yesterday (Saturday), with budding artists appearing throughout the afternoon and evening.

The festival provides a platform for musicians aged 12-24 to showcase their sound on an accessible stage.

Three piece rockers Dead End Friends kicked off the two-stage gig, which boasted pop, indie, metal and acoustic bands.

Halifax-based alternative rock outfit 47 Minutes Late headlined.
