Soaring great heights for charity

Andrew Hesselwood, 24, of Holmfield, Halifax, will take the plunge in a sponsored skydive to raise funds for Music and the Deaf - a charity which aims to enrich the lives of those with hearing loss through the experience of music.

It’s a cause close to his heart as he has worked with Music and the Deaf, which has a base in Discovery Road, Halifax.

Sign language interpreter, Andrew, pictured with Music and the Deaf artistic director Danny Lane, said: “The aim is to raise money to support their ongoing project work with deaf people in the UK and abroad, and particularly to fund the Deaf Music Club which is held in Halifax and allows young deaf musicians from the area and friends and family to come together to perform as a group.”
