Speeding ducks in Hebden!

QUACK, QUACK! Watch out there’s a few hundred ducks about!

The annual Hebden Bridge Rotary duck race will take place on Easter Monday.

The charity event sees hundreds of plastic ducks released down the River Hebden, with the winner bagging a first prize of £300.

Tickets for each duck cost £1 and are available in shops across Hebden Bridge.

The town will come alive with family entertainment including street entertainment, children’s roundabouts, face painting and stilt walkers.

The ducks will be launched at 3.15pm and should arrive at West End Bridge by 3.30pm.
