A Halifax care home held a sponsored walk to raise funds for activities for residents in its specialist unit.
Twenty-five people including staff and family members of those cared for at Pellon Manor Care Centre joined together to take part in the 26-mile walk last Friday.
The sponsorship money is still being collected, but the money raised will help to fund activities for residents in the specialist dementia care unit.
A spokesperson for the centre said: “We hope to improve the garden here and fill it with colourful objects and water features.
“We’d also like to take the residents on a day out to the seaside.”
