Spreading Easter cheer to town's most needy

A man is hoping as many people as possible will donate to his Easter Egg appeal to help homeless and rough sleepers in Halifax.

John McGall, chairman of Calderdale Disabled Advice Resource Team (DART), suffered a heart attack earlier in the year and is organising the appeal from his hospital bed in York. He is asking all his friends, family and the general public to bring some Easter cheer to those most in need.

Eggs can be donated via Dave Fawcett at Inn Churches, St James Road. Mr McGall thanked Nestle Halifax for the donation of 45 eggs to get the appeal on its way.
