Proceeds from Jack’s Stall, which will run from 9am to 3pm at Todmorden Market on Sunday, November 8, will raise money for the trust fund set up for Jack, whose father, serviceman Fusilier Lee Rigby, was murdered on the streets of London two years ago.

Lee’s family have strong Calder Valley links and Jack and his mum Rebecca, who is from Southowram, were guests of Todmorden branch of the Royal British Legion some months after his death.

People are invited to bring saleable items to the stall, which will have for sale some special items including some original First World War newspapers and silk-decorated postcards from that era.

One of the organisers said they had been given a letter of authority from the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers to host the fundraising stall and said: “We would like to thank everyone for their support. We are determined Lee should not be forgotten.” Anyone wishing to contribute items can contact Kate on 07543 236142 for more information.
