“Staying well, keeping active and most importantly having fun” is the aim of the Staying Well Project says Amy Harbour, director of Hebden Bridge Community Association.

People who lead active social lives are a happy bunch, who often see health improvements, she says.

There are plenty of groups you can get involved with and people who can offer a hand to find the right thing for you.

The Hebden Bridge Staying Well Hub is working with lots of people, community groups and businesses to develop new activities all over the upper Calder valley so there’s sure to be something nearby for you to try.
