Bassist Mani described the audience as the “best crowd ever”, as reported on the Victoria’s Twitter account.

Theatres manager Tim Fagan said: “Whilst we’re delighted that the band have chosen the Victoria Theatre for these intimate gigs, it’s also no surprise as the Victoria is one of the best gig venues in the North and we offer and amazing service and experience to artists and fans alike.”

The show was one of two warm-up gigs, the other in Carlisle, ahead of a run of concert’s at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium later this month.
