Supporters out in force for Lisa
The game at Lane Head recreation fiel, Brighouse, raises money for the charity Cardiomyopathy UK in memory of Lisa Freeman, a mum of two who died in October 2005 aged 30 from the heart condition hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Since then the village of Hove Edge – and particularly those associated with the Old Pond pub and its Sunday football team have arranged the annual event to raise money for charity for over a decade.

Hide AdThe nursery nurse worked at St Joseph’s R.C. Primary school, Brighouse.
After the game, the fund raising continued at the Old Pond pub in Spout House Lane where there were refreshments, raffle and competitions, including darts.
The charity has a vision for everyone affected by the heart muscle disease cardiomyopathy to lead long and fulfilling lives and provide information and support to families affected by the disease.
