The game at Lane Head recreation fiel, Brighouse, raises money for the charity Cardiomyopathy UK in memory of Lisa Freeman, a mum of two who died in October 2005 aged 30 from the heart condition hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Since then the village of Hove Edge – and particularly those associated with the Old Pond pub and its Sunday football team have arranged the annual event to raise money for charity for over a decade.
