Teenagers were in the dock
Justice wasn’t served when a group of teenagers were taken to Calderdale Magistrates’ Court.
The youngsters were given a tour of the courtroom as part of their roles as Calderdale Explorers. The explorers are a group of teenagers interested in joining the police, who are given an insight into how crimes are solved and how the justice system works.
Specials Liaison Officer and Volunteer Co-ordinator, PC Alex Langley said: “All the explorers thoroughly enjoyed the day and gained useful information to help them on the programme and also in their personal choices for future careers.”
