The Boss is coming: Springsteen announces UK tour dates

Rock superstar Bruce Springsteen has announced 4 UK stadium shows following a 25-date US tour of 1980 album '˜The River'.

The 66-year-old rocker will visit Manchester, Glasgow, Coventry, and London with a couple of Dublin dates in a European jaunt taking in 15 cities.

Setlists from the US leg of the globetrotting marathon suggest that The Boss will perform his customary long set verging on three hours, kicking off with The River, including ‘Hungry Heart’ pretty much in its entirety.

The album is being reissued along with outtakes as a box set, ‘The Ties That Bind’, and tunes from the repackaged long-player have featured in the setlist, before Bruce moves onto the best-known songs from his 40+ year recording career, including ‘Dancing in The Dark’ and ‘Born To Run’.
