A HORSEDRAWN carriage will carry the body of Michelle Suttle to her funeral.
The much-loved 23-year-old died last week.
The procession carrying Michelle will leave Gargrave Close, Rastrick at 11am on June 28 and make its way to Fixby crematorium for a service at 11.30am.
A statement from her family said: “It’s the sort of tragedy you read about. Even when you read about people you know it hurts. You never expect it to happen to people you know. We understand now first-hand what other families are suffering. It’s unbelievable. “Unless you’re experiencing it, you can’t explain it. It’s just so much worse,” they said.
Michelle, a former Rastrick High school pupil, had moved to Huddersfield.
A collection will be held at the service for the Domestic Violence Intervention Project.
Friends are then invited on to The George, Commercial Street, Brighouse.
