Thousands prosecuted for not paying their TV licence
Latest figures place the county fourth in England for the number of prosecutions after 11,433 people were taken to court for non-payment.
More than twice as many women were prosecuted than men in West Yorkshire. There were 8,001 prosecutions of women for non-payment, compared to 3,394 men brought before the courts.
Nationally, there were 173,065 prosecutions in 2014.
