Thousands of people got into the Christmas spirit at the Victorian Christmas market in Brighouse.
The event, organised by Brighouse Business Initiative, moves into its second day today in the town centre.
Plenty of people have already stopped off to take on the great local gifts, craft and food on offer with shops and staff sporting period costumes for the Victorian theme.
Queen Victoria, accompanied by Prince Albert, officially opened the proceedings at 10am on Saturday morning having been paraded in a vintage car from the railway station.
As well as the stalls lining the streets crowds have been enjoying a funfair, fairground organ, brass bands, a vintage carriage with shire horses, chestnuts roasting on an open fire and carol singer.
