Time to raise a blooming good cuppa

Merrie England Coffee Shop in Brighouse is calling on local people to hold a Blooming Great Tea Party this summer and support Marie Curie.

Every donation from a Blooming Great Tea Party will be helping Marie Curie Nurses care for more people living with a terminal illness across the UK.

Gina Hanselman, Director of Merrie England Coffee Shops, said: ‘We’re pleased to be supporting Marie Curie with their Blooming Great Tea Party Campaign, it was so lovely to meet some of the local volunteers recently in our Huddersfield Coffee Shop.

“We have information about how to hold your own Blooming Great Tea Party in our Coffee Shop, feel free to pop in and see us.”

Aanika Dhillon, Community Fundraiser for Marie Curie added: “It’s easy to support Marie Curie with a Blooming Great Tea Party and it really is up to you how you decide to join in. We want people in Brighouse to tell us all about their tea-riffic plans. Every pound raised will enable us to help even more people living with a terminal illness which includes those we support directly in Brighouse.
