TODDLING tots set out on a mile-long walk around their neighbourhood to raise cash for charity.
Youngsters at Norland Children’s Club, at Norland School, have so far netted £500 cash for Meningitis UK in a sponsored toddle waddle.
The charity was chosen after a former pre-school pupil, Blaithim O’Connell, now eight, battled meningitis when she was younger.
Helen Learoyd, pre-school learning assistant, said: “It was absolutely brilliant. We made duck feet which were distributed along the route - hidden in trees or tied to walls - which the children looked for on the walk.
“They had a really good time.”
