TODMORDEN’s first ever Vintage Fair at the Town Hall was a huge success – and plans are already under way for the next one.
Hand-made pieces by local and regional artists were on sale, as well as fashion and homeware from the 1920s to 1980s.
Caroline Brown, owner of vintage shop The House of Rose and Brown in Victoria Road, Saltaire, Shipley, organised the fair.
She said: “I think Todmorden has got a really good vibe for something of this nature.
“People are interested in things from past eras. There is also a really strong artistic community here as well.
“The fair was really well received and we had lots of people coming through the door.
“Stall holders were really positive and would like us to put another one on in the near future.”
Due to the success of the fair, Caroline is now hoping to organise another which will be held within the next few months.
