Bus route diversions and stops missed on Calderdale road as works take place
A bus service is diverting as roadworks continue to take place in Sowerby.
Broadway is closed to allow for works by Yorkshire Water to take place.
Metro Travel News shared: "Broadway in Sowerby is affected by roadworks until Wednesday, November 4.
"First Bus 579 is diverting from St Peter’s Avenue then via Stocks Lane and Sowerby New Road. Not serving Rooley Heights and Broadway."
Broadway closed in August to allow for works to take place.
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Water said: "We are carrying out work to either install, renew or replace assets on our water network.
"This is essential work to ensure we provide a reliable service to our customers.
"We know roadworks can be disruptive - thank you for bearing with us while we work. "We carefully plan in the works under strict license from the local authority to ensure the disruption is kept to a minimum."
