No water for Calderdale residents warning after major water main burst

Burnley Road was closed between Burnt Acres Lane to Jumble Hole Road in Todmorden just before lunchtime on Tuesday.

Calder Valley police officers advised people to follow the diversion signs.

Yorkshire Water engineers are currently dealing with problem.

First West Yorkshire buses has confirmed that services 590 and 592 are diverting via Crag Vale.

A spokesperson for Calderdale Council said: "The #A646 Halifax Road between Burnt Acres Lane and Jumble Hole Road is likely to remain closed into the morning, with diversions in place via Cragg Vale. Please make alternative travel arrangements if possible"
