Cars damaged by suspected drunk driver

A man in his 40s was taken to hospital accompanied by police on suspicion of drink driving after an accident last night (Sun) at Upper Green Lane, Hove Edge, Brighouse.

His Fiat Punto was travelling towards Halifax Road when it collided with a Peugeot 306.

The Punto then hit a Nissan which was then pushed into a Mercedes estate.

Brighouse firefighters were called to release the Fiat driver but he was out of the vehicle on arrival and taken to hospital with minor injuries.
