Crews attend basement fire
Fire crews were called to a house fire in Pellon last night (Thursday).
The incident happened in the basement of a property in Durham Street at 6.30pm. Nobody was injured.
Fire crews from Halifax and Illingworth attended and used a hose reel and breathing apparatus to extinguish the flames.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
