Fire crews cut man free from car in Elland
Fire crews from Elland and Brighouse cut free a male from his vehicle following an RTC.
The driver of a Ford Fiesta collided with a stationary Ford Mondeo as he drove along Dewsbury Road, Elland, this afternoon.
Fire crews, police and an ambulance attended the scene where the male, in his 20s, had to be cut free to safety from the vehicle, at around 4pm today (April 22).
The male was treated at the scene in the ambulance before being taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary to be treated for chest and abdominal injuries.
