High-powered Audi seized by police after speeding through Halifax street at 80mph

A high-powered Audi was seized by police officers after it was caught speeding around the streets of Halifax at 80mph.

On Monday night officers from West Yorkshire Police’s road traffic unit were out in the Queens Road and Pellon area of Halifax.

The Audi was seen travelling in excess of 80mph on Moor End Road.

It was stopped and seized by the policing unit.

The driver was reported to court and issued a section 59 warning.

Elsewhere a BMW was stopped in the Queens Road area.

It was found to have no insurance.

The car was seized and driver reported.

Both areas have been highlighted by the community as an area of traffic concern.
