Knaresborough man left with ‘multiple serious injuries’ following Forest Head Lane crash

A Knaresborough man is in Leeds General Infirmary with multiple serious injuries after a two vehicle collision on Forest Head Lane on Sunday.

The collision, which took place at 10.20pm, occurred when a blue Volkswagen Polo and red Ford Focus travelling in opposite directions, collided.

The 29-year-old man from Knaresborough, driving the red polo, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with multiple serious injuries following the crash.

And the driver of the Focus, a man in his forties from the Ilkley area, was also taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious abdominal and pelvic injuries.

A woman passenger in the Focus, aged in her thirties and also from the Ilkley area was taken to Harrogate District Hospital with minor injuries.

Two fire engines attended the collision and released the Knaresborough man and the female Focus passenger using hydraulic cutting equipment.
