Lucky escape as tree falls on woman’s house in Halifax
The 100-foot tree bounced off the roof of a house in Moor End Road and landed on to a conservatory.
Firefighters from Halifax were called at around 9pm last night (Monday).

Hide AdThey used a reciprocating saw and an axe to cut the tree and remove it from the conservatory.
The roof of the house and the house suffered damage, but, fortunately, nobody was injured.
The tree had come down in the strong winds.
After making the scene safe firefighters left the scene around 10pm.
