Man walked along M62 in attempt to get to Luton

A man walked along the M62 in a bid to get to Luton.

Police stopped the man walking along the eastbound carriageway between junction 25, A644 (Brighouse) and junction 26, M606 (Chain Bar) just before 2pm today (Monday).

A police spokesman said he was trying to use the motorway network as a guide.

The man has since caught a train.
