Multi-vehicle M62 crash causing miles of queues and travel disruption

A multi-vehicle crash on the M62 is causing travel disruption for motorists.

The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway between junction 25 at Brighouse and Junction 26 at Chain Bar.

Emergency services were called at around 9.50am this morning.

Lanes two and three are currently blocked Highways England have confirmed.

Traffic officers and the West Yorkshire Police Road Policing Unit are currently at the scene.

Queues are stretching back to Ainley Top.
