A road in Halifax that was closed earlier today due to a police incident has re-opened

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said they received reports of a concern for safety at 12.12pm today

"A further call said the individual was on Northgate, Halifax.

"Road closures were put in place as officers dealt with the incident.

"The individual came down safely and all the roads are reopening."
