Police called to Rastrick crash

West Yorkshire Police were called to deal with an incident in Rastrick this morning (Friday) after reports of a car knocking down a telegraph pole and crashing into a garden.

The force said it was dealt with as a damage only collision.

An eye witness to the incident told the Courier that a car came off the road near the old Rastrick Independent School and crashed through a garden, demolishing a telegraph pole in the process.
