Police called to multiple accidents on icy roads
Police chiefs are warning motorists to take care on the roads as weather forecasts predict more wintry conditions.
Calderdale Valleys Neighbourhood Policing team has received multiple reports of collisions across the district, just like this one on Rochdale Road in Todmorden (above).
Commuters were also held up this morning on the M62 Eastbound between Junction 22 A672 (Rishworth Moor) and Junction 23 A640 / A643 (Huddersfield)
One lane was closed as a black Vauxhall Astra hit a barrier. Police confirmed that no one was seriously injured in the accident.
