In the second item, they agreed authorisation be given to acquire land in Elland to allow the station istelf and a car park to be developed, with a total estimated value of up to £300,000, again preferably by negotiation but with agreed compulsory purchase powers if necessary.

The scheme is being developed through the West Yorkshire-plus Transport Fund.
