Lindis Percy, Joint Coordinator of the Campaign for the Accountability of American Bases, said: “For the last 18 months this weekly peaceful demonstration has been going well. The way we demonstrate has been agreed with North Yorkshire police and facilitated by the Ministry of Defence police. We have developed a good rapport with people coming in and out of the base.”
