Increased police patrols by the Calderdale Valleys Neighbourhood Policing team have been seen around a school in Calderdale

The team is working towards one if its Upper Valley priorities - in this case dealing with road safety issues outside Todmorden High School.

A spokesperson for the policing team said: "As part of working towards the one of the Upper Valley Priorities - Road Safety ongoing across the Upper Valley with special emphasis on or around Todmorden High School at the end of the school day - officers attended Todmorden High School at start time and conducted cycle patrols around school and Centre Vale Park.

"At finish time officers conducted foot patrol around the Burnley Road school exit."
