Tickets issued to dangerous and irresponsible drivers in Calderdale

A dedicated police operation has seen dangerous and irresponsible drivers issued with tickets.

Operation Hawmill, Calderdale police force's partnership road safety operation, carried out patrols on the Queens Road and Hanson lane area of Halifax.

These are the tickets issued to drivers and vehicle seizures:

14 x Road Safety Outcomes

1 x Ticket for dangerous parts

1 x Ticket for red light offence

1 x Vehicle Seized

1 x Driver speeding

5 x No Seatbelts

Operation Hawmill is funded by the Calderdale Community Safety Partnership.

It focuses on areas of community concern and the Fatal4, speeding, driving above the drink or drug limit, using a phone while driving and driving without a seatbelt.
