Toddler escapes horror crash on A1(M) near Boroughbridge with minor injuries
The toddler was travelling on the outside lane of the north-bound carriageway when the car she was in hit the central reservation between junction 47 and 48.

Hide AdThe black Vauxhall Corsa, heading northbound between Wetherby services and Boroughbridge, rolled several times across all three lanes before ending up on its roof on the grass embankment.
All three of the passengers, from Wigan, received hospital treatment for their injuries but the toddler escaped serious injury with just a minor cut to the head.
However, a 23-year-old female passenger did suffer serious injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary by air ambulance with a broken pelvis and fractured arm.

Hide AdThe driver also managed to escape the crash with minor cuts, bruises and seatbelt injuries but was taken to Harrogate Hospital for treatment.
The car was travelling in foggy conditions when they crashed and officers attended the scene at 10.25am before closing the road to allow Yorkshire Air Ambulance access.
The Highway Agency put a lane one road closure in place until 12.38pm while police investigated the scene and to allow the recovery of the car.
