UPDATE: 64-year-old woman in Hipperholme RTC, taken to hospital

A 64-year-old female driver has been taken to hospital following a crash involving two vehicles in Hipperholme.

An ambulance attended the scene of the RTC involving a black Volkswagen Passat and a blue Honda Jazz in a collision on Leeds Road, at around 10am (January 31).

The 45-year-old male driver of the Honda vehicle was treated at the scene and the female Volkswagen was taken to Calderdale Royal to be treated for minor injuries.

The Volkswagen vehicle crashed into traffic lights on Leeds Road, pictured.

Police have now cleared the scene and traffic is flowing after heavy delays were caused earlier.
