UPDATE: Halifax Police monitoring Todmorden floods
Police are patrolling Todmorden after a downpoar of rain resulted in the area being flooded.
The duty inspector at Halifax Police Station confirmed they are monitoring the situation due to the amount of rain that’s fallen this afternoon in the area.
Police say as a result of the floods a number of units are patrolling through Todmorden.
Traffic has been stopped along parts of Burnley Road near Jack’s House, due to a road closure and there is partial flooding outside Lidl.
The fire brigade has also been involved.
