Update: No suspicious circumstances of man’s death at house blaze
Police and West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service are not treating the death of a man at a Hipperholme house fire as suspicious.
Detective Inspector Gary Stephenson, from Calderdale District CID, said: “At 1.38pm on Sunday June 1, police and the fire service attended an address on Waverley Crescent following reports of a house fire.
“The body of a local man, aged in his twenties, was recovered from the property.

Hide Ad“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file has been passed to the coroner.”
The scene was closed while a joint investigation was launched by police and WYFRS.
