Train services have been restored after a wall collapsed in Todmorden.
Services were disrupted between Preston and Leeds following the landslide in Victoria Street.
Northern Rail trains were suspended between Blackburn and Hebden Bridge while workers investigated the site.
Todmorden train station was closed for a short time and replacement bus services were set up between Blackburn and Hebden Bridge.
A Northern Rail spokesman said that the landslip and flooding had caused knock-on problems regarding the availability of trains across the network.
Keith Lamley said: “A wall has collapsed and we are investigating. We are looking at the embankment to ensure that it is safe which will be causing delays.”
