Woman. 63, suffers serious injuries after being hit by a van in Queensbury

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was hit by a can and suffered a serious injury.

The ce are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Queensbury last night.

Officers were called at 6.30pm on Friday November 13 to reports of a collision between a Renault van and a pedestrian on the Brighouse and Denholme Road junction with Mill Lane in Queensbury..

The van was travelling along the Brighouse and Denholme Road through Mountain in the direction of Keelham when the collision happened.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene.

The 63-year-old female pedestrian suffered a serious injury to her foot and was taken to hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, saw the van prior to the collision or has any dashcam footage is asked to contact the police via 101 quoting log number 1488 of 13 November.
