Woman take to hospital following RTC in Elland Wood Bottom

Firefighters had to cut a woman out of a car, following a collision with another vehicle in Elland Wood Bottom this afternoon (Saturday).

Two appliances from Elland and Halifax attended the incident at 12.50pm.

The 33-year-old woman was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary after sustaining a neck injury.

An adult and child also in the vehicle at the time of the incident were unharmed.

The road was closed in both directions for approximately one hour.
