Over 500 people packed out the Venue in Barkisland to meet former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson.
Tyson arrived just before 7pm on Saturday evening before meeting sponsors and posing for photographs with guests.
He then sat on the top table during dinner before taking part in a question and answer session with compere Pete Emmett.
Stephen Oleksewycz from Oxleyfresh promotions, who arranged for Tyson’s visit, said the night had been a huge success.
“He was fantastic,” said Stephen. “He was very relaxed and polite to everyone he met and didn’t mind posing for photographs with people.
“The question and answer session with Pete was unscripted and Pete asked some good questions.
“But Mike answered them all and told some stories from his career that people won’t have heard before.”
There was also an auction on the night, from which a percentage of the proceeds will go to the Chernobyl children’s lifeline.
